Description

Pseudolithos Mccoyi Seeds

From Oman. Pseudolithos mccoyi is a minuscule plant, with thin, rough knobby grey, quadrangular stems, reptilian looking and tricky to cultivate. It branches from an early age, six months or so, and forms small clumps only a few cm across. This species together with Pseudolithos caput-viperae and Pseudolithos dodsonianus are the only freely branching members of the genus. These plants, like most of the succulent milkweeds (stapeliads), are generally fly pollinated, and conveniently smell like rotten meat or some type of manure to attract pollinators. Use 100% mineral soil.
