Myrtillocactus Geometrizans Cactus Seeds

Myrtillocactus geometrizans ( blueberry cactus) is a fast-growing, tree-forming cactus native to central and northern Mexico. Seed-grown plants develop blue-green stems with 5–8 prominent ribs and short, rigid spines. Mature specimens can form multi-branched shrubs reaching 2–4 meters in height in suitable climates.

The species produces small greenish-white flowers followed by dark purple, edible fruits. It prefers full sun, warm temperatures, and a well-draining mineral soil mix. This cactus is widely used as a grafting stock due to its vigor and hardiness.

Seeds germinate best at 20–28 °C with steady moisture and bright, indirect light. Suitable for both collectors and growers looking for a durable, fast-establishing cactus.
