Horticultural Black Scoria | Lava Rock

Very high quality Black Scoria in an ideal horticultural size. Scoria’s porous structure enhances drainage and encourages gas exchange to increase air porosity while also holding water and nutrients.

Black Scoria is a lightweight volcanic rock or lava. It can contain up to 70 trace minerals which nourish the plant over time. High grade black lava rock doesn’t decompose, discolour, or float. It also remains evenly distributed in the pot over time.

This is the highest grade of Black Scoria available. There is little to no dust or contaminants. It’s sifted and cleaned.

High grade horticultural Black Scoria Lava Rock is an essential ingredient in high quality soil mixes for cacti, succulents, cuttings, bonsais and other hard to grow plants.
