Description
Agave Univittata Quadricolour
A rare and exquisite Agave, Agave univittata Quadricolour is highly ornamental evergreen succulent forming colourful rosettes of toothed, strikingly-striped leaves about 6-12″ long.
Dark green in the centre, the leaves are adorned with a pale green mid-stripe and golden yellow edges, which are lined with a row of dark reddish teeth. When exposed to light they redden. Under cold or drought the leaves add on shades of pink to red, further enhancing the colourful display.
This agave succulent is a rare colourful form of the traditional Blue Agave or Agave Americana.
