Seed collected from Cuesta La Chilca Argentina. It grows in a dry and warm climate with wide variation in temperatures and poor rainfall. This cactus is very easy to grow and displays beautiful large blooms with a high degree of variability in flower colour. It branches at the base and forms clumps.
