Trichocereus Bridgesii cv Dreggar
The famous Trichocereus Bridgesii cv Dreggar comes from a gigantic T.bridgesii stand perched on a steep hilltop in southern California overlooking the valley. The cactus grew in the rear yard of an old lady named Mrs D who cared for it. Its potential is well documented. Very limited. Also known as cv Dre Drop.
Bolivian torch cactus, is a columnar cactus from the high deserts of Bolivia. Bolivian Torch is a tall, columnar cactus that is native to Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. Trichocereus bridgesii can grow up to 2 meters tall and have multiple branches. It has a large variability in the number of ribs (0-9) and produces some of the most fascinating forms of variation. The cactus shows nocturnal flowers up to 15 centimeters in diameter. This cactus is cold hardy and can withstand temperatures down to freezing if kept dry. Hardy to at least USDA zone 7 and possibly even colder. An excellent addition to a rare cactus collection.
