The very rare crested form of Trichocereus bridgesii.
Bolivian torch cactus, is a columnar cactus from the high deserts of Bolivia. Bolivian Torch is a tall, columnar cactus that is native to Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.Trichocereus bridgesii can grow up to 2 meters tall and have multiple branches. It has a large variability in the number of ribs (0-9) and produces some of the most fascinating forms of variation. The cactus shows nocturnal flowers up to 15 centimeters in diameter. This cactus is cold hardy and can withstand temperatures down to freezing if kept dry. Hardy to at least USDA zone 7 and possibly even colder. An excellent addition to a rare plant collection.
