These wild looking Lophophora williamsii specimens are hard-grown right here at our nursery to mirror the brutal, unforgiving conditions of their native habitat in the Chihuahuan Desert.

By replicating the harsh elements of the wild, we intentionally slow their growth. The result? Exceptionally resilient cacti that develop the highly sought-after flat, rugged, and deeply authentic appearance of true wild specimens.

 Water is withheld and food / amendments are always organic with a focus on soil health. These Lophophora williamsii grow in an almost entirely mineral soil, replicating the limestone rich soils they naturally grow in. They are also grown in full sunlight under intense heat. While these conditions slow their growth, they produce exceptionally resilient plants. As a result, the cactus develops a flatter, more natural appearance, similar to those found in the wild.
