Epithelantha micromeris is a miniature globose cactus that grows in small clumps, not deep-seated in substrate it appears ashy grey and relatively rough in general aspect. It is regarded and a choice plant among cactus enthusiasts and is quite rare. It can handle cold temperatures well and requires a well draining soil. A special plant among the Tarahumara and the Huichol of Mexico. It is known as Hikuli Mulato.
