Prickly Pear Opuntia Cold Hardy Cactus Cutting 

Will survive outdoors year-round throughout much of Canada. Cold Hardy to around -23 C.

Produces juicy and edible red or purple fruits.

The prickly pear is the only native cactus species in Canada and is considered endangered, with only two small populations known to be persisting today.

The variety is defined by the large size of its pads. They can grow to be many times the size of other varieties of cold hardy Opuntia.
