Aztekium Hintonii Cactus

Aztekium species are well regarded as the slowest growing species of cacti. Aztekium hintonii is a narrowly endemic species restricted to a very restricted area in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. It is one of the most threatened species of cacti. It grows in a landscape of sharply incised gypsum canyons where it clings to almost vertical walls.
