These seeds come from Ariocarpus confusus, a rare and highly prized cactus species native to northeastern Mexico. This cactus is an unusual form lying between Ariocarpus retusus and Ariocarpus trigonus, known for its distinctive deep magenta flowers — a colour not typically found in the closely related species — though white, pink, or even bi-coloured blooms can occur.

These specific Ariocarpus confusus seeds are from the White Flower variety, a very rare and peculiar local form somewhat intermediate between Ariocarpus retusus and Ariocarpus trigonus.
