They truly have unique appearance. Ariocarpus grows in Mexico on limestone at elevations of over 600m. We have done the most difficult phase in cultivating these cacti, now they just require little attention and lots of patience. They are the latest species of cactus to flower, usually flowering in autumn / early winter.
