Description
Austrocylindropuntia Subulata
Native to the Andes of Peru. Also known as Eve’s pin and Eve’s needle cactus. Austrocylindropuntia subulata can reach heights up to 4 meters, with numerous branches. The elongated, slightly brittle branches are up to 50 centimeters long. The stems are marked by rhomboid to ovate bumps in a few spiral rows. The awl-like rudimentary leaves are up to 12 centimetres long.
This cactus acclimates well indoors and does not have high light requirements.
Height: 54″ or 62″ with pot – multiple branches. Sold with ceramic pot.
