Description
Astrophytum Myriostigma var. Nudum
Very similar to the classic myriostigma, it only deviates from the well-known typical form for lacking white flecks, giving it a bright green or gray-green overall appearance.
Astrophytum myriostigma is a spineless succulent plant. A transverse section of the stem reveal a perfect star shaped form giving the plant the appearance of a bishop’s mitre (hence the common name Bishop’s cap)
A myriostigma seems to flower independently of day length, flowering intermittently throughout the warm months from the end of winter to the start of autumn.
